 Peer Review Services:

  • System Peer Review
  • Engagement Peer Review

There are two different types of peer reviews under the AICPA Peer Review Program (effective January 1, 2009):

  1. A system peer review is an on-site review required for firms performing audits and/or examinations of prospective financial statements.
  2. An engagement peer review is performed (off-site) when the CPA firm’s highest level of service is a review or compilation of financial statements, and performs no audit or attestation engagements.
We can perform both types of reviews, and Michael Solakian, Managing Member is a qualified reviewer in the AICPA Peer Review Program. Mr. Solakian has performed over 1,000 reviews since the inception of the program, and can give you more information on this service.
